ZoomInfo Pricing in 2026: What Teams Actually Pay and What Drives the Quote

ZoomInfo pricing is not published; every plan is quoted by sales. Vendr's data on 1,576 purchases puts the median ZoomInfo contract at $33,500 a year, with a range from $7,233 to $156,053. Entry Professional packages are reported at about $15,000 a year for a few seats and 5,000 credits, and the quote rises with seats, credits and intent features.

Does ZoomInfo publish its prices?

No. ZoomInfo's pricing page lists plans and features but every one says to contact sales. The page states that price depends on three things: features, number of licences and credit usage.

A few rules are public. One credit equals one export of a contact or company profile. Credits can be added as needs change. ZoomInfo offers monthly or annual payment frequency, and free trials on most plans.

Payment frequency is not the same as contract length. ZoomInfo's public License Terms say the term is whatever the Ordering Document sets and that "the Agreement is not cancellable". Cognism, a competitor, reports that ZoomInfo sells annual contracts only. Read your order form for the real commitment.

What do teams actually pay for ZoomInfo?

Most teams pay between $15,000 and $60,000 a year, and the median is $33,500. Three independent sources line up on that range.

Source What it reports
Vendr (1,576 purchases) Median $33,500 a year; low $7,233; high $156,053; average saving 22%
Cognism (competitor estimate) Professional $15,000 to $18,000 (1 to 3 seats, about 5,000 credits); Advanced $22,000 to $28,000 (3 to 5 seats, about 10,000 credits); Elite/Enterprise $35,000 to $45,000+ (5+ seats, 15,000 to 20,000 credits)
Coffee (competitor analysis) Professional+ list $14,995 a year with 3 seats and 5,000 credits; mid-market teams $30,000 to $60,000 with add-ons; intent add-on about $9,000 a year

Treat the tier ranges as estimates. ZoomInfo renames tiers often, and sources quote them under older names. ZoomInfo publishes no list price for Professional or any other tier, so the $14,995 figure is Coffee's, not ZoomInfo's.

Do the per-credit maths before you meet sales. At $14,995 for 5,000 credits, each export costs $3.00 if you count the whole contract against credits. That includes seats and software, so it overstates the data cost. It is still the right comparison when your team mainly exports contacts: Apollo's annual Basic plan works out to about 2 cents per credit, as our Apollo pricing breakdown shows.

What plans does ZoomInfo sell?

ZoomInfo sells three Sales plans, three Marketing plans and two standalone products. Here is what each adds, according to the pricing page.

Plan Built on What it adds
Professional Base sales plan Contact and company profiles, mobile numbers and business email, search and export, lists and alerts, CRM integrations, Chrome extension, AI email generation, dialing
Copilot Advanced Professional Buyer intent signals, website visitors, account fit score, champion tracking, job posting changes, buying group filters, workflows
Copilot Enterprise Copilot Advanced Real-time intent, custom intent signals, earnings call signals, competitor alerts, custom integrations, Copilot chat, dedicated CSM
Marketing Demand Marketing base 75,000 included credits, 25 intent topics, audiences, CRM and MAP integrations
ABM Lite Marketing Demand 100 intent topics, ZoomInfo Display Network (10 campaigns, 10,000 accounts), retargeting
ABM Enterprise ABM Lite 150,000 included credits, unlimited intent topics and display campaigns
Chorus, Chat Standalone Conversation intelligence; website chat

Credits per Sales tier are not published. The pricing page says each package includes "a predetermined number of monthly credits based on your needs", so the allocation is set in your quote. ZoomInfo also sells GTM Studio, its workflow layer, which we cover in ZoomInfo GTM Studio: what it does and what it needs.

What drives a ZoomInfo quote up or down?

Price lever board where seat figures, credit bundles, add-on modules and contract length slide a quote up or down

Seats, credits and intent features drive most of the quote. Contract length and timing decide how much discount you get.

  1. Seats. Each licence adds cost, and Vendr notes that buyers with smaller seat counts often pay more per seat.
  2. Credits. Every export uses one. Vendr calls overages "a significant hidden cost" and advises negotiating a higher allocation up front.
  3. Tier. Intent, website visitors and buying-group data sit in Copilot Advanced and above.
  4. Add-ons. Cognism lists intent signals, advanced filters and regional data as separate fees.
  5. Products. SalesOS, MarketingOS, TalentOS and OperationsOS are priced separately or bundled, per Vendr.
  6. Term. Two- and three-year deals usually bring a lower annual price and more credits, per Vendr.
  7. Timing. ZoomInfo's fiscal quarters end in March, June, September and December, when reps have quota pressure.

If intent data is the main reason you are upgrading, check whether public signals cover it first. We compare paid intent and public signals in do you need 6sense.

How many ZoomInfo credits do you actually need?

Size credits from exports per rep per week, not from the package ZoomInfo proposes. Because one export uses one credit, the sum is simple, and overages are where ZoomInfo deals get expensive.

  1. Count how many new contacts each rep adds to sequences in a normal week.
  2. Multiply by 48 working weeks and by the number of seats.
  3. Add the records marketing and ops export for campaigns and CRM enrichment.
  4. Add 20% for re-exports of contacts who changed jobs.

A five-rep team adding 40 contacts each a week needs 5 x 40 x 48 = 9,600 credits a year before marketing and re-exports. That is nearly double the 5,000 credits reported for entry packages. Bring the number to the first call and price the whole year, so the overage rate never applies.

If you cannot estimate it, ask for a 90-day usage report from the trial or the current contract. Then negotiate the allocation, not just the price. Vendr's guidance is the same: estimate usage carefully and lock in higher credit allocations up front.

How do ZoomInfo renewals and auto-renewal work?

ZoomInfo contracts are reported to auto-renew for 12 months unless you give written notice at least 60 days before the renewal date. That figure comes from Cognism and Coffee, both competitors, and from user reports. ZoomInfo's public License Terms leave the term to the Ordering Document, so your own order form is the only reliable source for your notice period.

Renewal price rises are the second risk. Cognism reports increases of 10% to 20% at renewal. Coffee, citing Enrich.so, reports 5% to 15%. One ZoomInfo user quoted in Coffee's analysis tried to cancel two days after the auto-renew date and still had to pay the full year.

The License Terms include a clause most buyers do not know about. If more than 5% of the licensed contacts are not employed by the company listed, you can notify ZoomInfo. ZoomInfo then has 30 days to reach 95% accuracy. If it cannot, you may terminate and get a prorated refund of prepaid fees. Check whether the same clause is in your signed agreement.

Data does go stale. In Drevon's 100-account test, 22 of 100 executives listed by ZoomInfo were no longer in their recorded roles. That is one test on one sample, not a contract measurement, but it shows why the clause is worth knowing. See why B2B data decays by over 30% a year for the wider pattern.

How do you negotiate a better ZoomInfo price?

Start 90 days before your deadline, bring a real alternative and negotiate credits and renewal terms, not only the headline price. Vendr reports an average saving of 22% on its deals, and says buyers who negotiate near quarter-end commonly get 25% to 35% lower per-seat pricing.

  1. Put the notice date in your calendar the day you sign, with a reminder 90 days before it.
  2. Count actual credit use per seat over the last two quarters. Cut seats that do not export.
  3. Get at least one competing quote. Apollo and Clay publish prices, which makes them easy anchors.
  4. Time the close for the last weeks of March, June, September or December.
  5. Ask for more credits instead of a deeper discount if you are close to your allocation.
  6. Cap renewal increases in writing, for example at a fixed percentage.
  7. Ask to remove auto-renewal or shorten the notice period.
  8. Take a multi-year term only if you are confident in seat counts for the whole term.

Also check what happens to exported data after the contract ends. ZoomInfo licenses data on a subscription basis; our analysis of where your prospect data goes compares the terms across Apollo, Clay and ZoomInfo.

Is ZoomInfo worth the price?

ZoomInfo is worth it for phone-heavy enterprise sales teams that need direct dials at scale and can use intent data. It is hard to justify for teams under five reps or for email-first outbound.

ZoomInfo's case is depth. Its sales page claims 420M+ global contacts, 120M+ direct dials and 145M+ companies. In Drevon's 100-account test it returned 71 direct phone numbers, the highest direct-dial match in the group, with 78% role accuracy.

The case against is cost per useful action. A five-rep team on Apollo Professional pays $4,740 a year at list. The ZoomInfo median is $33,500. If your reps mainly email, that gap buys a lot of verification and research. Our Apollo vs ZoomInfo comparison goes through the trade-off, and Clay vs ZoomInfo covers the workflow-tool alternative.

There is also a gap no contact database fills: evidence of why an account should hear from you now. Drevon reads LinkedIn, Reddit, job boards and company sites in your own browser and returns a brief where every claim links to its source. Teams pair it with a database rather than replace one, and use it to decide which accounts are worth a credit.

Does ZoomInfo offer monthly plans?

ZoomInfo offers monthly or annual payment frequency, but contracts are typically annual and not cancellable during the term. Check your order form.

How do ZoomInfo credits work?

One credit equals one export of a contact or company profile. Third parties report that unused credits do not roll over.
